Bedford Park Concerts

Two weekends, one incredible lineup

Bedford Park Concerts delivered a sensational six nights of concerts over the last two weekends
and it’s been a huge success. Promoters Cuffe and Taylor who are part of the Live Nation group
gave Bedford an exciting line up of acts covering all genres of music, with acts to suit every
musical taste and age demographic.

Acts included the likes of music legend and rock icon Sting, who bought his critically acclaimed
world tour ‘My Songs’ to the UK for an exclusive five dates and Bedford Park was the first venue
to kick off the tour. Sting asked the Bedford crowd ‘Why have I never been here before?!’ at the
sight of the exuberant crowd.

Other smash hit talent included multi-platinum selling artist George Ezra who rocked the park
with hit after hit, much to the delight of the sell-out audience! Many families at the show had
decided to take their children, which for many was the very first concert they had ever attended!
Concert Goer Dawn Lipscombe comments -

“Fantastic evening, my daughters first concert and she loved it! Organisation was fantastic and
staff were brilliant!”

Other acts on the Bedford Park Concerts Series included The Jacksons who flew in from America
and arrived in Bedford the following day and bought the sunshine with them as they had the
Bedford audience partying the night away with some of their biggest hit records. Other talent
over the six nights included German techno star Scooter, whose pyrotechnic show dazzled along
with an energetic crowd who didn’t stop dancing from the moment their feet hit the Bedford
Park grass!

The much-loved Proms made a welcome return, this year with a West End theme, a sublime
warm Summer’s evening listening to some of the biggest talent from the West End and
Broadway along with a 50-piece orchestra, lasers and the epic firework finale.

The Bedford Park Concert Series came to a close on Saturday night (1 st July) with the Ministry of
Sound Classical show. It was a perfect way to end a brilliant concert series which promises to get
bigger and better and has plans to bring even more big named acts to Bedford Park.

Peter Cuffe, Promoter of Cuffe and Taylor comments -

“We’ve had an incredible six nights of shows in Bedford Park and we are thrilled it’s been so
successful and that everyone has enjoyed the concerts. We can’t wait to be back with more
shows in the future! Keep an eye on our website and socials for exciting announcements soon.”
