MK Dons have confirmed manager Paul Warne, striker Callum Paterson and youngster Rian Silver have been nominated for accolades at the EFL Awards.
Warne has been nominated for League 2’s Manager of the Season, Paterson was nominated for League 2’s Player of the Season and Silver was nominated for the League 2 Apprentice of the Season.
The trio will find out if they’ve won their respective awards in the EFL Awards ceremony, which takes place on April 19th at a ceremony in London.
Warne is nominated against Bromley’s Andy Woodman, Cambridge boss Neil Harris and Micky Mellon of Oldham Athletic.
Paterson’s rivals for the Player of the Season prize are Bromley pair Mitch Pinnock and Omar Sowumni, and Swindon Town striker Aaron Drinan. The Dons striker was nominated after scoring 14 in 32 for his new club after joining MK Dons from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer.
Silver, who is the captain of the Dons’ under 18 side, received a nomination for the League Two Apprentice of the Season prize, which was previously won in 2024 by another MK Dons man in Callum Tripp. In this category, Silver is up against Ollie Dewsbury of Bristol Rovers and Cheltenham Town’s Mamadou Diallo.
