Willen Hospice have announced they will be partnering with MK Dons to offer free tickets for their Valentine’s Day match in support of the hospice’s work.
Alongside the Dons, the Hospice are offering fans free tickets to the match between MK Dons and Newport County on February 14th, with the charity looking for fans to take up the chance to donate in support of their care for the community.
Willen Hospice said, “This special matchday on Saturday 14 February, when the Dons take on Newport County, invites everyone in Milton Keynes to show their love for their football club and their local hospice. It also marks the start of a new partnership between us and the Dons this season.
“Complimentary seats in Community Corner are available now through our website for supporters and up to three loved ones. While booking tickets, you will have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to support our care for local people affected by life-limiting illness.”
The moves comes in a season that has seen MK Dons partner with Willen Hospice as a charity partner for this season, supporting the work of a Milton Keynes-based charity that offers end of life care.
Just before Christmas, MK Dons players and coaching staff visited the Hospice to understand more about the service the charity provides in support local people. Head Coach Paul Warne and players including Aaron Collins and Kane Wilson met several of those receiving round-the-clock care in the In-Patient Unit. During the visit, the Dons also joined staff for an interactive ball game in the charity’s state-of-the-art Immersive room.
Nigel Birch, our Commercial Manager, said, “We’re incredibly grateful to MK Dons for choosing Willen Hospice as one of their charity partners for the 2025/26 season. Partnerships like this are crucial in helping us raise funds and raise awareness of our care and the difference it makes to our patients and their families. This matchday is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together for a fun day out, cheer on the Dons and make a real difference to local hospice care.”
