The NHS in Northamptonshire has launched its spring COVID-19 vaccination programme, targeting individuals whose immunity may have waned.
The spring vaccination offer aims to deliver enhanced protection to those considered most at risk from the COVID-19 virus. The eligible groups include adults aged 75 and over, residents in older adult care homes, and individuals aged six months and over, who have weakened immune systems.
All eligible people will be invited for a vaccination by the NHS. Invitations will be sent to all qualifying individuals urging them to book their vaccination appointments. Vaccination bookings and checking eligibility status can be made on-line via the NHS National Booking Service or by telephoning 119.
More information about the spring COVID-19 vaccination offer and details of local walk-in clinics, and routine vaccination information, is available from https://www.icnorthamptonshire.org.uk/covid. Additional help and support accessing a local vaccination clinic can be obtained by calling 0116 497 5700 or emailing: [email protected] The NHS App provides details of all previous COVID-19.
