Appeal to trace men who helped woman following sexual assault

The occupants of a car which was flagged down near St. Peter’s Way in Northampton by a woman who had just been subjected to a sexual assault are being encouraged to come forward.

In the early hours of April 3, 2022, a woman was sexually assaulted by two men in the St Peter’s Way carpark after she left a nearby nightclub. Two men aged 37 and 24 have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Following the assault, the woman flagged down a car, believed to be red, which contained four Eastern European men. These men then helped the woman and took her home.

Detectives are trying to trace these men as they may have information which could assist with the investigation.
