Assault in High Street, Daventry

Witnesses are being sought after a driver was assaulted following a damage-only road traffic incident in High Street, Daventry.

The incident took place between 6.45pm and 7pm on Tuesday, October 25, when there was an altercation between the two drivers, resulting in a man grabbing the woman by the arms.

The male driver is described as black, about 5ft 11in of a slim build with short black hair and stubble. He had a gold tooth and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with white lines down the side, a light-coloured jumper, white socks and grey sliders with white Adidas stripes.

Officers believe the road would have been busy at this time of day and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed or captured the incident on dash-cam footage to contact them.
