CCTV appeal: Purse theft in George Row, Northampton

Police officers have released an image of a man they believe may have information regarding the theft of a purse in George Row, Northampton.

The incident happened between midday and 12.30pm on Tuesday, June 28, when an 80-year-old woman had her purse stolen from her handbag outside of All Saints Church.

Officers investigating the incident believe the man in the image may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for him, or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
