Serious road traffic collision in Kettering

Two men have been released on police bail pending further enquiries following a serious road traffic collision in Bath Road, Kettering on Sunday, April 16.

The men aged 32 and 30 from Kettering, believed to be the driver and passenger of the white Land Rover Defender, were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – assault occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm.

Officers were called to reports of the collision in Montagu Street at about 5.20am.

It is believed the Land Rover was in collision with a group of five pedestrians. One of the pedestrians sustained serious injuries, while four others sustained minor injuries. All were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers investigating this incident are still appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who may have any information, including CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage, which could assist with their enquiries, or who may have seen the Land Rover prior to the collision.
