Witnesses are being sought after two people were threatened with a machete in Black Lion Hill, Northampton.
The incident happened on Monday, March 14, between 10.15pm and 10.45pm, when a man and woman were walking on the train station side of the road towards town.
The man verbally challenged a male on an e-scooter who was riding on the pavement so the scooter rider stopped, produced a machete and threatened the pair with violence.
Thankfully no injuries were sustained.
The suspect was wearing a blue balaclava, a light grey hoodie and light grey bottoms.
