Weapons search at Becket's Park, Northampton

As part of the police's #MattersOfPriority week of action which focused on drug harm, DCI Steve Watkins joined officers for a search at Becket's Park

During the search of the area, officers found three metal bars, two knives, drug paraphernalia and Class A drugs. Whilst a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

In this video, DCI Watkins explains the importance of carrying out regular searches of such popular public places to help make our communities safer by keeping weapons off our streets.
