Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted inside the tent at Circus Zyair at Sixfields.
The incident happened yesterday (March 10) between 7.45pm and 8.30pm, when a man was seen to be dragging a woman across the floor of the tent and punching her to the head.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and remains in police custody at this time.
