Bat Out of Hell

This explosive, high-octane rock opera is loud, brash, and brilliantly bonkers, combining Meat Loaf’s legendary back catalogue with a dystopian love story set in a post-apocalyptic world. A gang of rebellious youths, frozen forever at 18, call themselves “The Lost”, and their leader Strat, played with raw energy by Glenn Adamson, falls hopelessly in love with Raven, daughter of the authoritarian Falco.

Katie Tonkinson brings an electric intensity and powerful vocals to the role of Raven, while Rob Fowler returns as Falco with an assured, charismatic performance, matched beautifully by Sharon Sexton as his fiery wife, Sloane. Their dynamic, especially during “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” is a chaotic highlight. Georgia Bradshaw shines as Zahara, with Ryan Carter making a strong impression as Jagwire. There’s also fantastic support from Carla Bertran as the fragile Tink, Carly Burns as Valkyrie and Leo Abad as Denim, all contributing to the show’s powerhouse ensemble.

The production dazzles with pyrotechnics, thunderous live music, motorbike stunts, and an imaginative multi-media set – including live on-stage filming and vintage-style video projections. It’s like a rock concert colliding with a gothic fairytale.

With iconic hits like “Dead Ringer for Love”, “Bat Out of Hell”, “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” and “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, every number is delivered with unrelenting passion.
