Northamptonshire Tourism Awards 2026 now open for entries

Entries are now open for the Northamptonshire Tourism Awards 2026, run by Discover Northamptonshire to celebrate the county’s visitor economy.

Joe Buckley and Flo Pearce from The Tollemache Arms collects their award at last year's event

Businesses and organisations across the sector are invited to apply by 31 July 2026. The awards offer a platform to raise profiles, drive growth and progress to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. This year’s headline sponsor is Wilson Browne Solicitors.

The launch follows national success for Northamptonshire, with 2025 ‘Pub of the Year’ winner, The Tollemache Arms, going on to win Bronze at the VisitEngland Awards earlier this month.

Award categories cover attractions, accommodation, experiences, accessibility, food and drink and more. Winners in each category will go on to represent the county at the national awards.

Richard Clinton, Chair of Discover Northamptonshire LVEP, said: “The 2025 Tourism Business Awards at Silverstone Museum set the bar high, and I have seen firsthand what recognition means to those who enter and win.

“These awards matter because Northamptonshire's visitor economy is genuinely exceptional, and the businesses driving it deserve to be celebrated and championed on a national stage.

“Discover Northamptonshire brings together partners united by a single ambition: to unlock the full potential of this county as a destination, delivering real economic and social returns for communities across the region.

“I urge every eligible business to enter. The rewards go well beyond a trophy."

This year’s headline sponsor is Wilson Browne Solicitors, while West and North Northamptonshire Councils are sponsoring categories. Other sponsorship options are available by contacting [email protected].

Cllr Mark Arnull, Leader of West Northamptonshire Council, said: “Tourism plays an important role in supporting jobs, local spending and vibrant communities across the county.

“These awards recognise the businesses whose hard work and creativity make Northamptonshire stand out.”

Cllr Greg Wilcox, North Northamptonshire Council’s Executive Member for Communities, said: “Northamptonshire has a strong mix of visitor attractions and hospitality businesses that make it a great place to visit.

“These awards are a valuable opportunity to celebrate that success and showcase it nationally.”

Kevin Rogers, Chair of Wilson Browne Solicitors, said: “We’re proud to support the awards and champion the businesses at the heart of Northamptonshire’s visitor economy.

“It’s a great way to highlight the quality and ambition across the sector.”

Finalists will be announced at the Discover Northamptonshire Business Conference on 7 October at Kettering Park Hotel.
