US citizen Anne Sacoolas appeared in court yesterday to face charges of causing the death of Harry Dunn by dangerous driving.
Sacoolas, 45, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court via video link from the United States. During the hearing she only spoke to confirm her date of birth.
Harry Dunn had died after a collision whilst riding his motorcycle nearby RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he died a short time later.
Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring told the defendant that she would be required to attend the next hearing in person, but also said that might change.
Sacoolas was granted unconditional bail following the brief hearing. The case will next be heard at the Old Bailey on Thursday, October 27.
