 
                            Witnesses are being sought after a teenage boy was assaulted by another teenage boy in Stanwell Park, Wellingborough.
The incident took place between 6.20pm and 6.45pm on Monday, March 28, when a 13-year-old boy was walking in the park with a friend and an older boy threw him to the ground and punched him in the head before putting him in a headlock.
The offender was white, aged 15 to 16 years old, 5ft 10 with short black hair in a buzz cut style. He was wearing grey trousers, a black top and black and white Nike trainers.
Witnesses or anyone with information which could assist the investigation are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
