A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the Force’s Operation Antigua.
Operation Antigua is an investigation, launched at the end of June 2020, which focuses on reported sexual abuse between the years of 2006 and 2016, all originating from the statue in Abington Street where young people would gather.
Alex Stephen Coleman, of Redruth Close, Northampton, has been charged with 17 sexual offences against four people.
Coleman is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court at 11am on August 15, 2022.
