Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a residential burglary in Logwell Court, Northampton.
The incident occurred between midnight and 2pm on October 30, when the offender(s) entered from the back of the victim's home, before damaging a patio door to get inside.
They searched several rooms, stealing jewellery worth £2000, leaving the home untidy as a result.
Officers investigating this burglary would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between the stated times, or who may have been offered items of jewellery for sale in unusual circumstances.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have any information regarding this incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
