Serious road traffic collision on A6183/Stamford Road, near Weekley

Witnesses are being sought after a serious road traffic collision at the roundabout junction of the A6183 and Stamford Road, near Weekley.

At about 12.35am today (Wednesday, April 27), a vehicle left the road for reasons yet to be established and collided with a tree.

The driver – a man in his 20s – and his passenger – also a man in his 20s – were both taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
