Update to attempted murder investigation in Southampton Road, Northampton

Detectives from Northamptonshire Police investigating the attempted murder of a 31-year-old man in Far Cotton, Northampton have arrested a woman in connection with the incident.

Officers were called to Southampton Road, at about 7.20pm on Saturday, October 15, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A woman from Northampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and remains in police custody.
