Witnesses are being sought after a 13-year-old boy was robbed as he rode through an underpass in Ecton Brook Road, Northampton.
Between 7.20pm and 7.40pm on Thursday, June 9, the boy was riding his scooter when three other teenage boys stopped him and demanded his scooter. When he refused, one of them produced a knife and threatened him.
The offenders then searched the boy’s pocket and stole both the scooter and its charger. The offenders, who all had their faces covered, headed towards Ecton Brook Post Office.
The first offender was white, aged 15-16 years, about 5ft 10in, of a slim but muscular build and had a deep voice. He was wearing a grey Hoodrich tracksuit.
The other two offenders were both black, aged 15-16 years. One was wearing a black Nike tech fleece and the second one was dressed all in black.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have any information which could assist with the investigation is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
