Witnesses are being sought after a robbery in Lower Mounts, Northampton, which took place at about 11pm on Monday, March 21.
The incident occurred when a man was approached by a group of unknown males as he walked along Lower Mounts from the town centre towards St Michaels Road.
One of the males asked him for money before he assaulted him and stole his small black rucksack which contained Airpods, £80 in cash and a black digital watch. As a result of the assault, the man sustained bruising to his forearm and face.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have any information which could assist with the investigation is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
