Suspicious incident in Dallington Park, Northampton

Police officers are appealing for information following a suspicious incident in Dallington Park, Northampton.

The incident happened on Saturday, May 28, at about 10am, when a woman approached a mother in the area who was with her two children and beckoned towards the children in what appeared to be an attempt to get them to go with her.

The children’s mother asked the woman to stop and she left the area via Dallington Road.

Officers would like to speak to the woman concerned and she is described as white, aged 35-45, with a hunched back, short dark hair, about 5ft 2in, and wearing a grey oversized jumper and baggy black trousers.

The woman or anyone who might recognise her description should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
