Olney Cherry Fair takes place this Sunday, on the Glebe field by the Church. A day out for the whole family, a great community event with its roots going back to our 700 year old charter.

Cherries used to be a crop in Olney and the glut would be sold at the fair; hence the name.
We have some fabulous stalls this year, offering everything from hand made gifts to cherry chocolate beetroot smoothies! You will be able to rest your weary feet while you listen to Olney Brass Band; have a cup of tea and a cake, or tuck into a delicious BBQ with a refreshing glass of Pimms.
We have some great things lined up for the arena; so looking forward to the Country Dancing, singing from local School Choirs and many more. Planning lots of fun activities and games; this year the Scouts are in charge of the Coconut shy! Don’t forget to bring your canine friend to take part in our Dog Show and if you are feeling adventurous you can even climb the bell tower…. or join in the fancy dress parade.

We are busy preparing a wonderful Cherry Fair for you this year.
The bouncy castle is already booked and so is the First Aid!

Stalls and Events
We have some fabulous stalls lined up this year, offering everything from hand made gifts and local ice
cream to cherry chocolate beetroot smoothies!
You will be able to rest your weary feet while you listen to Olney Brass Band; have a cup of tea and a
cake, or tuck into a delicious BBQ with a refreshing glass of Pimms and, of course, English cherries!
We have some new things lined up for the arena; so looking forward to the Ballet School Country
Dancing, and singing from Olney Voices, Olney Middle School and The Village Federation School
Choir.
Planning lots of fun activities and games; this year the Scouts are in charge of the Coconut shy and we
have “ducks” helping with hook a duck!
We do have have a fun opportunity for the children to join in our Fancy Dress Parade at 2.20pm. There
is no charge for entering the Parade and there will be prizes!
Don’t forget to bring your canine friend to take part in our Dog Show with classes for Cutest Puppy,
Golden Oldie, Most Gorgeous Girl. Most Handsome Boy and Best Rescue. Just come along and
register as you enter the arena.
If you are feeling adventurous you can even climb the bell tower....
