Northampton Musical Theatre Company continue to build on the success of Calendar Girls, Made In Dagenham and Shrek, and are delighted to bring their fantastic new production of Kinky Boots to the stage. With wonderful music by Cyndi Lauper, this tale about a struggling shoe factory, based on a true story, will lift your spirits and have you dancing in your seats. NMTC are once again proud to be making the Derngate auditorium their home for Kinky Boots, coinciding with its 40th birthday year.
There was a great buzz in the air as NMTC return to the Derngate Theatre with Kinky Boots, right in the town where the story is set, Northampton.
The entire NMTC company delivered a extremely impressive, fast paced production of what has become a timeless classic. The acting and vocals were nothing short of what you would expect to see in the West End or even Broadway production of this story. The night closed with a standing ovation with an extra surprise, an appearance with the "Real Life" Charlie Price, Northampton's very own Steve Patemen.
The NMTC production of Kinky Boots will go down as yet another great success by the fabulous Northampton Musical Theatre Company.
