It's panto season once again and Milton Keynes Theatre has a star studded cast for their spectacular production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Starring Birds of a Feather's Lesley Joseph as the evil Queen Dragonella, bringing her brilliant comedic skills to the role and seeming to be having a great time with the rest of the cast.
Alongside her, comedy and panto legend Paul Chuckle plays Oddjob and seems very much at home in the show with some very funny moments.
The other glittering star of the show is Judge Rob Rinder who plays the Man in the Mirror and dazzles in a glittery silver sequined suit. He doesn't take himself too seriously and at one point performs an impressive cartwheel during an especially camp dance routine.
Charlotte Haines as Snow White brings a Disney-esque warmth and sincerity to the part with the cast completed by the dashing Dale Mathurin as Prince Harry of Haversham.
This is a pantomime which isn't afraid to adjust the formula and bend the rules... slightly. There are a few key elements of the Snow White plot which have been changed in this show, which work well and bring a more modern balance to the story.
There's no pantomime dame, and the seven dwarfs are performed in Ken Dodd Diddymen style. The audience participation segment at the end involves the parents rather than the kids which works out to be very funny and again, a bit different from usual.
This is a great show to go and see whether you're an annual convert or going for the first time, with spectacular costumes, dazzling dance routines and of course, plenty of belly laughs and quite a few jokes that will hopefully go over the heads of the younger audience members.
